Edna Schaefer

Edna Schaefer - Adoption Specialist

Hi! My name is Edna Schaefer and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been working in the adoption field since 2004. Previous to adoptions, I worked with foster care children in a national agency providing counseling to the children and foster parents. Once licensed, I began assisting families with international adoptions and domestic private adoptions and have loved every minute of the work. I have met with birth parents and adoptive families from the contemplation stage to finalization and understand that there is not a "typical" family, that every family is different and is united by love.
