We had such a wonderful experience with American Adoptions that we are happily repeat customers! With the help of American Adoptions our daughter, Aubrey, was born in February of 2007. We wrote about our experience with her adoption previously and now wanted to share the story of how our precious son, Hudson, came home too.

It was with a new hope and faith that we turned to adoption. It was not important to us that a child was genetically from us. We desired to love, nurture and raise another child and felt that adoption was the answer to our prayers. Once we made this decision, it seemed like fate took over and we let our instincts lead us. I came across American Adoptions while surfing the Internet on adoption. Their website was so professional and thorough. I called right away for information and found their staff tremendously helpful, positive and responsive.

We have a unique story and I wanted to take the time to share it. In March of 2008 we adopted our baby boy Jackson from American Adoptions. He has truly been a blessing to us and I wanted to share the story of how we came to be a family!

We wouldn't be writing this letter if it wasn't for American Adoptions and our wonderful birthmother! We extend our gratitude to American Adoptions for all of your hard work and dedication to us during the whole process.

Technically Kenny and I began our adoption journey in June of 2009, but I know in my heart that God planned for us to adopt Maya long before that time. God put many people in our lives to guide us on this amazing journey. One of the brightest guiding lights for us was American Adoptions.

We had a very special day last Wednesday, August 12, 2009. This was the day our 2nd child's adoption became finalized by the State of Arizona! While reflecting back, we realized that less than 3 years ago, in August, 2006, we never imagined that we would have 2 beautiful children in our family so soon.

Whew...how did this happen? Our beautiful and amazing son, Ryan Walter, is already 14 months old! I am still in awe of this beautiful baby and just so thankful each and every day that his wonderful birth mom, Dawn, and God brought us all together.

Our story is not so different from countless others. We tried repeatedly for 12 years to have a baby. After trials and drugs and the heartache of never getting pregnant, we rejoiced at the mutual decision to adopt.

"There you are!" Were the first words our Daughter heard when we saw her beautiful face. After seven years of tearful Christmas mornings, overcompensating for the missing little soul in our lives by giving each other way too many gifts, our truest Gift from God arrived at 6:46pm Christmas evening 2008. Who needs a new ipod!

Our son Christopher was born on May 13, 2009. Words could not express the feelings we experienced when we saw him the next day in the hospital nursery. He was born in the state next to ours, so we were able to travel quickly and easily. The staff at the hospital and the hotel were absolutely wonderful - they were so excited and helpful! My family was able to come to visit a few days later, as were some dear friends. Christopher is the joy of our lives and we can't imagine our lives without him. Yes, it was worth the wait and the often bumpy journey. Thank you again, American Adoptions, for playing a large part in making our dreams come true. We are forever thankful and grateful!
