First we wanted to thank all the people at American Adoptions who helped us with our adoption process. They helped make our adoption process a very rewarding experience. Specifically we would like to thank Laurie Walker and Sarah Anderson. After having a successful adoption we thought it would be a good idea to share it with the waiting adoptive families so they could see that all their efforts and waiting will eventually result in a wonderful adopted baby.

Thank you so much! Through your help we have adopted an absolutely gorgeous baby girl. We would never have imagined the process of open adoption could be this fabulous and rewarding of an experience. We both feel that even if we could have children on our own, we could not have made such a perfect and glorious baby. This is beyond our highest expectations. What American Adoptions helped provide us is beyond measure.

Through the gift of adoption our family is now complete! Our daughter Aubrey is now six weeks old and we can't even remember, nor do we really want to, what life was like before she joined our family.

We had always wanted a family. When we began our journey we had no idea what lied ahead. After four years of infertility heartache we decided to stop the emotional pain and adopt, we would be guaranteed a family.

We are so grateful that we chose American Adoptions and plan to work with them again for our second baby. Everyone was nice and as helpful as they could be, and they truly deliver what they promise. It may not be on your timetable, but it all works out in the end.

Every day is so special and we think it's impossible to love her anymore, but the love still grows! Samantha enjoys being a big sister, and Kara just grins from ear to ear when Samantha walks into the room. We thank God and the birth mother who gave us the most amazing gift our family could ever receive--our sweet Kara!

It is easy to become discouraged if you wait longer than the average wait time. That is where we found ourselves in September of 2006. We were in the Traditional I Program and had been waiting for 18 months. At this time I promised myself that if our dream ever did come true that we would share our story to give hope to other couples that are not matched quickly!

Our son is now 5 months old and not a day goes by that I don't think of our adoption experience and how absolutely amazing his birth mother is to have chosen this life for him.

Michael and I have a wonderful and loving 6 yr old son, Joshua. But unfortunately, we were unable to have another child. We didn't even think twice about adopting.

I am not sure if there are any words to describe the joy, happiness and love we have for our daughter and how we became a family. I also don’t know if we can ever be grateful enough to the birth parents for their strength and courage to make the decision that allowed us to become a family. We just know that they will always have a special place in our hearts!
