Now our lives are complete and I have God and the birth mothers to thank for choosing my husband and I to be the parents of our 2 most precious gifts, our son and daughter.

We knew that we could be waiting 6 months, 12 months, etc., and never dreamed for a minute that our wait after activation would be not six months, but approximately 6 weeks!

..look at that beautiful baby as proof that adoption is a wonderful thing, that good things happen to good people and that the circle of life continues with the help of many different hands. Our new son is pure joy at its finest, he is a miracle...

We had always wanted a family. When we began our journey we had no idea what lied ahead. After four years of infertility heartache we decided to stop the emotional pain and adopt, we would be guaranteed a family.

It has been approximately 25 months now since we adopted our precious Julie through American Adoptions.

We would just simply like to tell everyone of the wonderful experience that we had recently with the adoption of our baby girl.

I did a lot of research – studying many agencies on the internet, making many phone calls, and reading every book I could find. When I finally called American Adoptions, I had already spoken in depth with several agencies, so I had my list of questions ready. I spoke to Wade on the phone, and he very patiently answered each of my questions, and offered me lots of information about American Adoptions. His comfortable, friendly manner made this particular agency stick in my mind. I had a feeling this might be the place for us...

We still remain in contact with Amanda and her family. They are a very special family and we think so much of them. Nolan is a wonderful baby that we love so very much. We tell everyone what a great adoption experience we had and that we could not have asked for a better birthmom. Our lives are so blessed and we know that it was meant to be...it was God's will.

Making the decision to adopt in a soul searching one. Finding the right agency is crucial. American Adoption is the right agency.

We decided that adoption was the way for us and turned to American Adoptions in August of 2002. It turned out to be the best and most important decision in our lives.
