The experience was awesome and more rewarding than I ever could have imagined.

After years of trying to conceive, a miscarriage, and fertility treatments, we decided that adoption was the best family plan for us. After researching several agencies, we chose American Adoptions.

Daniel is the sweetest, most precious little guy we have ever seen and we love him so much. We will forever be grateful to our birth mother for her selfless decision, her love for him, and her choosing us to be his parents.

It was July 19, 2005. I started off the day feeling down because we hadn't heard anything. That afternoon, I received a call from Alli with American Adoptions. She was calling to let us know we had been chosen by a couple. My heart skipped a beat. Millions of questions started running through my mind.

We can't thank American Adoptions enough for the role that they played in bringing our family together. The adoption process is filled with questions, answers, stress, mystery, excitement, joy, and most of all love.

Everyone from Megan Riley, Laurie Walker, Ken Hawkins and even the women who answer your phones were so supportive, caring and concerned for my wife and I.

After 4 years of infertility treatments, my husband and I made the decision to adopt.

After several years of infertility we decided that we were tired of the emotional roller coaster ride and were ready to adopt. We signed up with American Adoptions and our journey began. At first, we took the approach that it will happen when it happens and that kept us going until June 2006 (15 months after we signed up). During that 15 months, we did get calls but for one reason or another, no match was made.
