1st Central New Jersey American Adoptions Adoptive Family Picnic

On Sunday July 9, 2006 Julie and Guy hosted what we hope will be the first of many Central NJ American Adoptions adoptive family events, with a picnic at our house. Over the last 3 ½ years since we adopted Daniel we have been lucky to make friends with 2 couples that we did not know before and become closer friends with another couple simply by answering questions for them about the adoption process. We hope we can do this again, and include some prospective adoptive families so we can answer questions and provide support to them
It was a beautiful summer day; Kim and Mike, Henry and Ami, and Dianne and Tom joined us for a fun, but very busy afternoon – playing with and following four children under the age of four: Jamie, Eric, Justin and Daniel. We spent the day on the deck and the kids played in the kiddie pool and on the swing set. We cooked Burgers, Chicken, Hot Dogs and veggies on the grill and generally had a great time getting to know each other. It was fun comparing stories of each our adoption experiences and watching our children get to know each other.
We came to the conclusion that American Adoption only places beautiful children. Check out the picture and tell us what you think !!!
