Thank you to American Adoptions for all the support, information and time you spent with us during this wonderful process. We became active in March of 2007, receiving a phone call on September 15th that a birth mother had chosen us and the baby was due in two weeks. Much to our surprise, Jack was born 10 days later. We had the opportunity to meet his birth mother, materal grandfather, grandmother and birth brother at the hospital. It was great to meet and talk with the family. It was an experience that I will never forget and will always keep close to my heart. 

 

Most of all, "thank you" to Megan, our son Jack's birth mother for being such a couragous woman and for loving him so much by putting his needs above her own. I think about Megan each and every day and cannot wait until our son is old enough to tell him all about you and the love you had for him. It is through your courage and love that we were able to fill a void in our lives that I cherish everyday. American Adoptions offered so much support and understanding to both my husband and I and to Megan and her family. Our son, Jack is 5 months old today and there is not a day goes by that I do not think about how fortunate we are to have him in our lives. He is truly a blessing to our family and for that, I owe his birth mother, Megan! I love you and think of you everyday.
