Jon, Sharon, Nathan and Adrian's Adoption Story
We had a very special day last Wednesday, August 12, 2009. This was the day our 2nd child’s adoption became finalized by the State of Arizona! While reflecting back, we realized that less than 3 years ago, in August, 2006, we never imagined that we would have 2 beautiful children in our family so soon. In August, 2006, we had completed our home study and submitted everything to your agency, but we did not have confidence that we would be chosen to be adoptive parents. We found out that we were, and our first son was born in October, 2006. When we decided to adopt another child, we of course selected American Adoptions because you made everything smooth for us last time. And now we are a family of 4 and everything went just as great this time as with our first child! Thank you to each of you who have helped our dreams come true, we will always be thankful to you! Here is a snapshot of our day in court, and you can’t see it very well but Nathan and Adrian are wearing very adorable (matching) big brother / little brother T-shirts.
