This happened to us with our first adoption attempt, the day we were to leave the hospital. This is when the real character of the people at American Adoptions shined brightly. Everyone from Megan Riley, Laurie Walker, Ken Hawkins, and even the women who answer the phone were so supportive, caring, and concerned for my wife and I.
