Steve, Lisa, Emilie & Jacob's Adoption Story

It is with deep appreciation and gratitude that I write this letter to commend American Adoptions on a fantastic job in our remarkable adoption experience.  The experience was awesome and more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. I believe this may not have been possible without the professionalism, encouragement, and direction of the following people:

Christy Hallas:

Christy is amazing.  Her high energy level and love for her job was evident when we met her at our initial home placement interview.  She made us feel so comfortable from the beginning and answered our many questions.  Once the visit was over we felt as though we had made a friend and not just an acquaintance.  Christy extended an invitation to contact her at any time if we had questions. Once we had a match, I contacted Christy and her outpouring of excitement and support for us was enormous and greatly appreciated! 

Alli Garlich:

Alli is wonderful.  Our placement happened very quickly and though we were very excited we were a bit nervous.  Alli helped to put or minds at ease.  She was available to us daily to help answer questions.  Alli arranged for us to meet the birth parents the night prior to delivery.  We had an incredible experience that night.  She continued to stay in contact with us throughout our stay in New Jersey and also once we had arrived back home.  Upon returning home Alli helped answer questions regarding our son’s hospital records, obtaining copies of previous submitted material to American Adoptions, etc. As with Christy, we feel as though we had made a friend.  Alli is truly an asset to American Adoptions!

Sara Simon/Jeanne Tate:

These attorneys are fantastic.  Though Sara represented the birth parents, she was very helpful in answering any questions we had in reference to the legal process in New Jersey.  She put both the birth parents and our minds at ease during the legal process.

Jeanne Tate and her firm are incredible.  We were unable to return home with our son in an acceptable amount of time as a result of the Florida ICPC office’s misdirection.  Jeanne became involved immediately and went to great lengths to bring us home.  Her genuine concern for the happiness as well as the fairness to my family will forever be appreciated.  Her firm’s preparation for the finalization of our adoption was great!

Cheryl Kerr:

Cheryl is a very genuine person.  She made the post placement visits relaxing and enjoyable. She was very excited to see our son (and daughter) at each visit and interested in how we were all progressing.  Her love and enjoyment in her job were evident during the post placement process.

Our adoption experience was incredible.  I do not think that we will ever be able to explain how awesome and rewarding that is has been.  We gained so many blessings that day and it would never have been possible with out the dedication, support, and care of the people mentioned above.  Thank you for helping make our dreams and prayers come true and for making our family complete!
