Sandi's Adoption Story

For those of you that didn't know about my week I was a guest on the Dr. Phil last Tuesday. I was asked to come on the show and share my adoption story and talk to 2 girls that are thinking of placing their babies for adoption. To make a very long story short when it was my turn on stage Dr. Phil ask me if I had ever met my birth mother and sister. I said no!!! He then asked me if I wanted to meet them right now? I fell apart and onto the stage came Barbara my birth mother and Latricia (Trish) my half sister. I could not believe what was happening to me. I had no idea this was going to happen. Dr. Phil had other plans for me that day. It was to come full circle with my life, who I am, where I came from and meet the women who sacrificed so much for me. To her I am so truly grateful. We were to come home on Wednesday but he was so kind that he paid for another day. This was a wonderful experience and one I will never, ever forget. I want all of you to know that I have a true understanding of the gift of life. I am so grateful for the life I was given and for my parents. My life would have been so much different. I am very lucky and blessed to have all of you in my life. I love you all....... I do not know yet when this will air but as soon as I know I will let you all know. Thanks for the kind words of support and encouragement I received prior to my trip. Your love means to much to me. Sandi
