It probably depends on how long ago it was... In order for her to place without your consent she probably had to list the birthfather as unknown on the child's birth certificate. If that is so, depending upon your location, they probably had to advertise, then terminated your rights because you didn't respond to the ad. I would suggest that you gather as much info on this situation as poosible and seek the advise of an attorney as soon as possible.

what do i do when the mother of my child did not inform me that she was having my baby and gave it up for adoption with my permission i am capable of rasing this child and if its mine i want to be the father i know i can be
