| Michelle | Posted: Apr 08, 2005 03:36:50 PM My name is Michelle and I work for American Adoptions. I am also a birth mother and placed my son for adoption 7 years ago. I was 17 years old when I became pregnant with my son. Although adoption is a very difficult decision it can also be a very rewarding decision for all parties involved. My son now has a stable, two parent family with all the love in the world. He has had so many wonderful experiences and opportunties because of his adoptive family and things that I would not have been able to provide to him. I love my son more than anything in the world but I also know that I gave him the best life possible by choosing adoption. Please feel free to ask me questions as I am here for you and I know that you may need someone to talk to during this difficult time. michellew@americanadoptions.com. Thank you for your time.

| Jessica | Posted: Mar 31, 2005 06:46:51 PM I went to that web-site and it is sooo fake! There are so many girls that are on there that seem like they are lieing. There is an 8 year old that is pregnant and a 10 year old that has a 2 month old daughter and is 3 months pregnant...it is weird!

| Donna | Posted: Mar 28, 2005 12:57:27 PM Jessica - I want to wish you good luck with your decision. There are several wonderful adoption websites that I have been researching myself. My husband and I are looking to adopt, and I was overwhelmed with the amount of information available online. Be sure to confide in someone, if you can, your parents? Perhaps a counselor at school? This is a very important time in your life to take care of yourself. Although a scary time, it can be a beautiful time of your life as well. Gather as much information as you can to make a decision that you can be proud of. Adoption is a beautiful thing. It is not something to be ashamed of, and especially in today's world, you can be very much a part of every decision for your baby. Good luck to you - and may God bless you. Donna

| Jessica | Posted: Mar 25, 2005 12:42:59 PM HI-I am looking into adoption for my unborn child. I just found out I was pregnant for the second time. I am 17 and already have a daughter. I am not sure what to do and I can not abort the pregnancy...so adoption seems to be the best thing right now. Any advice would be great at this point...Thanx!
