I thought I would stop by and offer any support or advice to those interested in learning more about Adopting a child from the U.S. Foster care system.
The latest statistics indicate there are over 500,000 children in Foster Care with as many as 120,000 WAITING for an adoptive family. Each year an estimated 18,000 children 'age-out' without ever having a family to call their own.
Adopting a child from the foster care system is generally Free or very close to it, and many of the children are Special Needs and include a great deal of supports for families.
If anyone is Interested in learning about How to Adopt a baby or child from the State or would like to talk with other families who have please feel free to visit http://adoptiveparentsnetwork.com/
