| Dana | Posted: Jul 03, 2005 01:45:57 PM My husband and I have a 12 year old daughter who is the love of our life! We are also currently trying to adopt. We NEVER would have considered adoption if there was even a hint that we would feel differently about the adopted child vs. the biological child. A few months ago, we were 2 weeks away from adopting twin boys and when the adoption fell through, our entire family was devasted and I actually experieced physical symptoms. So at least for us, a child is a child whether born from your own womb or another. You still love them with all your heart! | ||
| Cheryl | Posted: Jun 07, 2005 05:48:54 PM My son is adopted and I could not love him more than I do even if he was biological. I should hope that every adoptive parent loves their children just as much as they would their biological children. My son is my world. | ||
