Hello I am also a cervical cancer survivor with hysterectomy and my husband testicular cancer and I have never heard this.

While researching adoption on other websites, some have said there is a time limit on when my husband and I are able to adopt. It was a 5 year wait for me having had cervical/uterine cancer with a hysterectomy as my treatment. I have been healthy ever since. Has anyone heard of this before? What are the guidelines?
