| carrielyn | Posted: Aug 20, 2005 12:23:06 PM There is a very good summary of costs related to adoption on this site. Go to home page and then adoption costs. There is a link to 1-800-homestudy adoption costs at the bottom. This is inclusive, and compares all types of adoption. Good Luck!

| katrinatalley | Posted: Aug 06, 2005 04:16:18 PM We are just starting to look into adoption. But we don't know where to start. It is all very expensive. I was wondering if anyone knows more about the costs of adoption. We looked into International Adopting and it ranged from 8,000 - 35-000. But then we looked at adopting straight from a birth mother and the info says only some need assistance. Does this mean it is less then over seas? Has anyone adopted this way? I hear you have the baby withing days of it's birth. But I can not find any info on the actual costs of this kind of adoption.
