My fathers girlfriend had papers drawn up which i signed when i was 17 almost 18, or could have been 18. I was in a girls home cause I got into some trouble. I really did not know the effect signing these papers would have. I have never been adopted, my parents where divorced and even thou my mom wanted full custody my dad got me. Him and his girlfriend changed the spelling of my name from Sheryl to Cheryl and then the papers that I signed ended up taking my true mothers name off of my birth certificate and replacing it with my dads girlfriend. I don't know how she did it...I want my real name back, I am 24, and I have always been apart of my real moms life. I want my reall name back and I want my REAL moms name back on my birth certificate. Please Help Thanks
