| Dawna | Posted: Sep 03, 2005 03:24:08 PM Yes, you can set a cap on your finances ~ I can't imagine any agency not allowing that to be the case, just realize that every single adoption is different; and you should check with your employers to see if they will give any kind of assistance. It could greatly reduce the amount "out of pocket" and perhaps enable you to increase your cap. American Adoptions is just fantastic to work with ~ give them a call; I am sure they will be HAPPY to discuss it with you personally. Best of Luck!

We are wanting to adopt because of infertility, but the unknown financial part scares the heck out of us. For others who have adopted, did you get financial assistance? if so, from where?
