Michelle Shaffer	Posted: Oct 16, 2005 01:16:30 PM I have a son, Sean with Down Syndrome and he is a great joy and always happy. I would recommend starting with the National Down Society web site www.NDSS.org for information on adoption or links to local groups.

I prefer to adopt from Kentucky but have been unsuccesful at finding any web sites that can direct me to an agency in Kentucky that specializes in special needs adoptions.
