Hello, my husband and I are both Germans and legal permanent residents of the US. We, too, want to adopt, and it seems to be a near impossibility to adopt internationally. So, whatever you find out, it would be wonderful to learn about domestic adoption. I am going to post more as soon as I know it.

Andre, I know there are several international couples working with American Adoptions. Give them a call and talk through the particulars. Everyone at the agency is very helpful and willing to help. Wendy

Hi, we are a German couple, and will soon move to the US on an H1 visa (working at University). It seems difficult to perform a international adoption if we are not in Germany. However, would it be possible to perform a US domestic adoption? Many thanks, Andre & Kathi
