i'm so happy for you and i think it's wonderful that someone finally agreees with me on this topic. most adults don't really care to adopt cildren between the ages of 5-17 because of disciplanary reasons. IT'S HARD TO DISCIPLAN ANYONE AT ANY AGE!!! (i should know, im 13. lol. im on here for a resarch paper for my english class.) much loves! ASHLYN

I think that is terrific. I have actually thought about it myself, and we may actually try it a little later in life. We think we are just a little too young to adopt a teenager at this time, but I do work with them on a daily basis. They are only scary from a distance. Once you spend more time with teens, you get to see how fun and insightful they can be- even despite the garbage life has dealt to many of them.

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THERE IS ALOT OF JOY YOU CAN GET FROM ADOPTING A TEEN.I'M DOING IT RIGHT NOW AND BELIEVE ME ,I COULD NOT LOVE THIS CHILD ANY MORE IF I HAD GIVEN BIRTH TO HER MYSELF.ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE SO AFRAID OF ADOPTING TEENS,AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THERE IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF.WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME WHAT IF THEY DO SOMETHING WRONG,OR YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT KIND OF KID THERE GOING TO TURN OUT TO BE I SIMPLY SAY YOU NEVER KNOW HOW YOUR OWN CHILDREN WILL TURN OUT.JUST REMEMBER EVERY CHILD REGARDLESS OF AGE,RACE,GENDER ETC.EVERYONE NEEDS A PLACE TO CALL HOME. THANKS FOR LISTENING,PLEASE WRITE BACK.
