I am the state of Iowa coordinator for a adoption program called the Wendys Wonderful Kids project, funded via the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. I look to find home for (mostly) teenage kids that are in foster care. There is a wealth of information about this topic at http://www.davethomasfoundationforadoption.org/html/about/index.asp Please let me know if there are any families out there looking to adopt in this age group. | ||

| ashlyn | Posted: Apr 13, 2006 10:36:28 PM i don't see how adults always want to adopt babies when so many children between the ages of 5 && 17 need to be adopted. i asked this question to someone i knew && they said it was because kids && teens that age are so hard to desciplin and are hard-headed. those are the times when they need a parent to adopt them. those are the times when they need love and know that they'll be taken care of. agreed?! | ||
