| Patty | Posted: Apr 27, 2006 10:20:06 PM I always thought if you are over 18 your parents no longer have any legal rights... but I would call American Adoptions at 1-800-adoption and they can give you better answers or direct you where to go... it also may vary by state.. not sure... good luck to you both... as a mom that adopted my son 4 years ago, just rest assured that if you use a respected agency for adoption you will have a couple that will truly love your child unconditionally...
