| Jeannie | Posted: Jun 06, 2006 04:07:08 PM Hi my name is Jeannie. I have been happily living with my boyfriend for 7 yrs. For the past 4 yrs we have been trying to have a child of our own to no avail. You see, he is in a wheelchair and can't walk. Though the doctor says we are perfectly able to have our own children it has to be done through IVF treatments, which can cost an estimate of 10K or more. after trying several lower costs treatments we decided to spend the money on adopting instead, since we had always said that we would adopt wether or not we had our own children. What I would like to know is are there any places that would allow a non married couple to adopt. If yes does anyone know of the number and/or website where I can go to get more information. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
