Michelle, how many times a day do you check your email and/or available situations. i have so much to do but i can't get my mind anywhere but thinking about adopting a new baby.

We have been active since April, but have not been matched yet. With our first adoption, we were with AA about 7 months when we were matched with a birthmother. Our daughter was born 3 months later and it was a great experience.

we are starting the process again too. i had forgotten how obssesive i can become when i have baby on my mind. i check my email 100 times a day, i now have to limit myself to breakfast, lunch, and dinner checks so i actually get somehing else done in my life. adopting is an emotional rollercoaster until those papers are signed. we had to leave our newborn in the hospital overnight of course and i remember going back in the morning to see if he was still there or if his birthmom had come to reclaim him. luckily she didnt change her mind and he has been ours for 12 years. i cant believe how fast the time flies! but here we are again looking for another baby. somedays i ask myself if i am crazy and should just count my blessings and not put myself through the emotions again. but of course it is definately worth it!!!

we are in the process of getting all of our paper work together now to be activated again and to update our homestudy. are you matched now? how long did it take for your first adoption?

This is our second time. We became active in April. Our first experience was wonderful, so we are hoping for the same.

So okay. We are taking a deep breath and doing this for a second time. Our first exp. was a emotional roller coaster. I hope this time it goes a lot smoother. We had a little girl for 3 weeks and the birth mother kept changing her mind while we were waiting for a court date. it was agony. however, we were soon blessed with a beautiful little boy. we feel that we are ready to try again. any repeaters out there?
