| Jen T | Posted: Jul 21, 2006 08:58:08 PM I am so sorry that you are in this situation and not getting any support from the father. You might want to try calling another agency to verify the information. From what I have read the legal expenses that can be paid to a someone considering placing their baby for adoption differ from state to state. So you also might want to make sure that the agency you call has experience in your state to make sure you are getting accurate info.
I wish you a lot of luck in what you decide to do.

| Misty | Posted: Jul 21, 2006 08:22:54 AM Hi, sorry for the hardship that you are going thru. Here is a contact for you. I'm not sure how much help it will be. I know that some states limit the amout that can be given, if any at all, and that there are restrictions to what the $ can go to.
We live and Mi. We are hoping to find a birthmother and adopt our second child. However, we can't afford much for BM expenses.
Anyway, here is the contact info. Hope it helps!

Hope you find the help you need.

| Patti | Posted: Jul 20, 2006 11:08:55 PM Hi,
My name is Patti, 26, in Wyoming. I am 5 months pregnant and have decided to give my baby up for adoption. My only concern is that I need financial assistance in the worst way. I have cervical problems from a LEEP proceedure done in 2002 and my doctors have advised me to stay in bed. This means I cannot work, which means I cannot pay my carpayment, rent or bills. My stress level is beyond tolerable and I barely even sleep at night. I have spoken with one other agency and they informed me that they cannot help with things like car payments and such. I am curious if that is the case everywhere and I am going to end up losing everything I've worked so hard to get. The birthfather has no interest and has done nothing to help me since I told him. In fact, he's only called me once to tell me that he will only help once I prove paternatity. I'm scared, alone, and stressed out. Anyone know any solutions?
Thank you for your time,
Patti
