How do I find an attorney in Virginia who will not give me the run around in opening-up my sealed birth document? I reside in Illinois and have contacted two different attorneys in VA. I suggested that I will fly down to VA and visually speak with them and pay the retainer for this information. Should I be hiring an Illinois attorney to act as a liaison between VA and I? Either VA attorneys are rude by taking on cases and never returning telephone calls to not willing to speak with physicians to provide direction on how the presented medical letter to the courts should be drafted. The Illinois attorneys I've dealt with in the past aren't so arrogant. The state of Virginia is very deceptive in hiding the fact on birth documents that the certificate had been altered in the first place. Illinois will make a small print comment on the bottom of their certificates indicating alteration had been done and what year this procedure took place (Illinois is more honest in legal matters). Sorry this letter comes across emotional but I'm in tears at this moment.
