| Leann | Posted: May 23, 2007 12:20:44 PM Unfortunately, Tina's biased views are insensitive to your situation. However, it may not have been the adoption agency's fault that a child with FAS was placed with your family. He may have FAE (e=effects), which is a more mild form of FAS and is harder to diagnose. Did the adoption agency provide information about his biological family's medical health? Oftentimes, due to state policies, adoption agencies are restricted to the amount of information they can collect from the birth parents. I hope this information helps clear some misunderstandings and confusion. | ||
| tina | Posted: Mar 14, 2006 12:45:32 AM so you're saying that you are disappointed this sick child was placed in your life instead of a healthy one? Wow | ||
| Noelle | Posted: Apr 03, 2004 11:11:39 AM My brother was adopted and after years of pain we are sure he has FAS. I feel the adoption agency was negligent in placing a "healthy" baby with our family. IS there legal recourse for having a disabled child placed under the pretext of him being healthy? Our family has lived a difficult life with his many problems. | ||
