Southwest also has very inexpensive fully refundable tickets for purchase and I believe US Airways has a one time change policy for adoption, or at least they used to.

We pretty much had to travel (within the US) at a 'moments notice' (two different times) both to our destination and 'home' again. We had no problems either time getting flights and we didn't pay outrageous fares either. And we had a great experience with Delta, also. We wanted a 'seat' for our infant and they only charged us $100 for the third seat when we told them it was for an adoption! Which we really appreciated!! Good Luck to you - you will do great!! Within an hour we were able to arrange for a flight, hotel and car rental - it is amazing what you can accomplish!!

When we traveled to Guatemala to bring home our daughter, Delta had a adoption travel rate. It is very flexable and the $ isn't too much more than a regular ticket....(I think it was only $50 more for both my hubby and I). Good luck.

My wife and I are waiting to be activated and we are concerned about travel arrangements once a match is found. Does anyone know of airlines that are flexible in regards to adoptions, scheduling flights or even possibly doscounts?
