Well, we now have a beautiful baby boy!! we wanted a little boy so bad!! He was truely our gift from god!! He is now 3months old and spoiled rotten!! it couldnt of went any better!! The BM was soo sweet and we had lunch twice once before and once after she had him!! when we got home in our amazment, everyone says he looks just like my husband!! they are a spitting image!! He is bi-racial and the most beautiful baby weve ever seen!! (not just saying that b/c he's ours). We enjoy sending letters/pictures of him to the BM b/c we fill like we really bonded when we were in Florida. If we could of done it all again we wouldnt of changed a thing!! It was the most exciting, nerve racking, impatience waiting for him to be born, funest experience we could of ever asked for!! Before we met the BM we were worried about the whole letters/pics thing but now, we enjoy doing it!! We finally turned this loving married couple into a family!! You can't ask for much else than that!! Amanda

Congratulations Amanda! A match after only 2 weeks is a dream come true. It just goes to show that if you want a fast match, go with the Agency Assisted program. Best wishes to you and your growing family.

Hey, We also live in FL and just got matched. We got very blessed~ our match is in FL. Don't worry about hurricane season.... you will be just fine. What part of the state will you all be going to? I know you must be over the moon excited!!

Hi Amanda! Congratulations on your speedy match!! We are hoping to be activated soon and so hopefully this will be a trend =) We live in Florida and to be honest depending on the area, hurricane season isn't too bad. Ernesto didn't even bring that much rain to most of the state and none at all where we are at. Hurricanes are easier to handle that tornadoes because at least you have a few days warning and the state at large has excellent response teams in place so don't worry too much. Plus look at the bright side, if you have to travel down here its the off season and hotel and airfare rates are much cheaper than in the winter/spring! How long is your projected wait until your bundle of joy gets here?
