My daughter is looking for her birth mother to find out medical background. She was born 9/24/69 in Interboro Hospital in New York to a young girl named Margaret Carpenter. If anyone has information it would be greatly appreciated.

I think when a person wants help with aearch they need put in there place of birth. Do you know that when you are adopted your parents are given a birth certificate, with information on it that maybe holds a lot of info for you. Not all the time do the adopted parents keep the information. So they say!! Thank you..

I was adopted in the philippines 29 years ago. Could you give me any info on how to find my birth mother. Also where I was born it's not there anymore. So would that be harder to find her, since my place of birth is not there anymore.

I would suggest looking on the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse website. You will be able to look up your state and find a contact person who will be able to tell you the laws in your particular state inregards to what you have access to and possibly receive access to your files so that you can get the medical information that you need. Good luck!
