I am a friend of jackie - she is searching for her birth family. Date of birth is December 2, 1961 born in Los Angeles, California. Name as shown on the birth certificate is Jacqueline Maria Ferman. The signature under "Physician" is Frederick, and then it looks like it's middle initial A and then maybe S-e-e,. The local registrar is listed as George M. Uhl, M.D., and the date received by the local registrar is December 12, 1961. Adopted through Holy Family Services Counseling & Adoption in Los Angeles. Adopted mom's name was Margaretha Catharina Van Loon. She was 38 and born in Holland. Adopted dad's name was Peter Wilhelmes Ferman. He was 40 years old and also born in Holland. They were both white. Jackie submitted a consent for contact in 1992 and have kept them informed of her current address but has never gotten any information from them. She is about 5'8" tall, white, medium brown hair. Her adopted father told her that she is of German and Scottish descent. Possible that the German came from her biological father. Adopted parents requested a child from either a high school or college student. If you can help, please email kathy at grams46@ol.com. thank you.
