there are parents that are looking for there child or child first step is talk to your adopted parents then take that last name and use it on line in phone books us this message board . i am having the same proublem but i wanna find my sons half sister and all i know is her fist name and date of birth at less you have a last name to go on good luck.

You didn't mention in your message whether you have talked to your adoptive parents. They are probably the best place to start -- and will probably want to know if you are curious about your birthparents. They can give you details about the agency and type of adoption and may even have some info on the laws of the state you were adopted in.

i am adopted. I'm young too. Teen years. I'd like to track down my real family. All I have is their last name. Where is a good place to start?
