I thought I mention that I saw an episode of Adoption Stories on Discovery Health Channel that featured a couple that adopted a little girl from either Guatemala or Colombia (I don't remember which). The husband was in a wheel chair and had a spinal cord injury. He functions well with his new daughter and appears to be a terrific dad. Best wishes to you.

Does anyone know of a couple who has been able to successfully adopt either domestic or international that has a spinal cord injury. Both of us are active and independent....thanks
