| Amy | Posted: Feb 10, 2004 12:36:34 PM Marcy, When our Home Study for American Adoptions is finally finished, We will have been interviewed for 7 and 1/2 hours between two persons, every document and background clearance available by law is in our file, and our home safety, water quality and pet personality/shots all documented. Each Agency may have different requirements, but our experience with American Adoptions is extremely thourough in both information and intentions. | ||
| MARY | Posted: Oct 19, 2003 11:24:19 PM I WAS SHOCKED AND INPRESSED WITH HOW MUCH INFORMATION THE AGENCY WANTED, NEEDED AND FOUND OUT. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE WAITING TO ADOPT AND I HAVE TO SAY AND ADMIT THAT IF I WAS PLACING MY CHILD UP FOR ADOPTION I WOULD FEEL AT EASE, RELIEVED AND THANKFUL TO KNOW THAT THEY DO SUCH A THOROUGH INTERVIEW AND SCREENING. | ||
| Marcy | Posted: Oct 13, 2003 12:07:54 PM Who gets to adopt my baby. Are the families screened or interviewed? | ||
