As a parent of an internationally adopted child, I have a fond spot for Angelina Jolie. In addition to adopting, she has also worked to show some of the conditions that the world's children livein, as well as making many people more globally aware. I would also put in my vote for the late Dave Thomas, who has done so much for adoption.

There are so many great celebrities involved with adoption that it is so difficult to choose just one, but we will ask anyway. Who is your favorite adoption celebrity and why?
