Hi Christy! Are you "Tyler & Christy"? If so, I noticed you seemed to get picked very quickly twice (once when my friend was active and once since we've been active). What's your secret?!

Well ladies... I have just adopted my second child through American Adoptions. I now have two beautiful baby boys and couldn't be more blessed but I have a girls name now that needs a home... Grace Elizabeth... Just throwing it out there for you :) Good luck to all of you your homes and hearts will be full of babies soon!

We've decided on Dana May if we have a little girl. I've had Dana in my mind for many years now, its such a beautiful name. May was my grandmother's middle name, and she was a beautiful person inside and out. We haven't agreed on a boys name yet. I like Craig, but my husband doesn't like it at all. I think Jim's a little reluctant to pick out a name too soon, because it will make the wait harder. He deals with the wait by trying not to think about it much, and having names makes the baby (and its absence) a lot more real.

With our first adoption, it was Kaitlin for a girl and Noah for a boy. Now that we have Kaitlin Annis (my middle name and a family name), we need a new girl's name and my husband is wavering on Noah Glenn (my husband's middle name).

We're leaning toward Haley Elizabeth for a girl but we may change our minds -- there are a few others we like. We were just tossing Jensen/Jenson around -- we also like Hayden and some others. It is a tough choice!

Jenn, I always thought it would be so much fun to pick out names, but it has actually been hard. I think the hardest part for us was finding names we both REALLY like. We have decided on Carson James (James is my Dad's name) for a boy and Alaina Kathryn for a girl. We had the same problem you are having with how to spell Alaina. We finally decided on the older/most used spelling. We are also open to talking to our birthmother about names and maybe even giving our children a second middle name that she would choose. I don't really know what to tell you about Jenson/Jensen. I think either would be fine, because there really wouldn't be any question about pronounciation either way. I personally like the way Jenson looks. I love using the site babynamewizard.com, click on name voyager and let the fun begin. Let me know what you decide! Do you have a name picked out for a girl?

Anyone want to share baby names you're thinking of or put them up for comment? I'm interested in comments on one name that we've been considering as of late. For a boy, we're considering the name Jensen (or perhaps Jenson) Daymond. The middle name will almost certainly be Daymond because that's my husband's name. Jensen is sort of like "Jenn's son" which would allow us to incorporate both of our names in the first and middle. Too hokey? Too unusual? We want to choose names that are different but not TOO different if you know what I mean. I'm thinking that the spelling Jenson is too unusual and too much like "Benson with a J," which is not the idea. Any thoughts?
