| Cheri Y | Posted: Mar 31, 2005 07:54:13 PM We have adopted one child and are in the process of adopting a second. Have you ever considered adopting a "waiting child" ?
In my state, any child over the age of 3 or that has some kind of disability be it mental or physical are considered waiting children.
They need love just lijke any other child, and the rewards are even greater :)

We are just at the sixteen month point right now. I must admit I never thought it would be this long. I agree with you, it does get discouraging. I would love to
talk to you sometime.

| Lori | Posted: Oct 09, 2004 09:36:40 PM Yes. We did not hurry to have children earlier in our marriage because we wanted to develop our careers and figured we could just do it later. Well, we've been trying 6 yrs. Still our nursery is empty. After facing our fertility issues, we're considering adoption.
