Hi Dan. Cost of course would have to factor into things for any family. Adoption can be quite costly. Aprox 10-15 thousand dollars in some instances. I know people who actually took out loands to pay for the process and make it more manageable. I does however depend on which route and which Agency you go with. If you are adopting internationally, the costs could be more. Depending on the travel and the legality of the country. If you go through your local children's aid society the costs would decrease significantly and would be minimal. This route would have less newborn babies available and an increase if children with special needs. You could also consider fostering to adopt. In these cases if the child your are fostering come available for adoption, your family would be considered first. So many options and decisions, and of course costs...Hope this helped somewhat. Good Luck!

I know this sounds petty, and I really do not mean for it to come off that way but what are the real costs? I'm sure many of you have the same infertility stories that we do and I know you must have had the same thought. I have heard so many different opinions on what the cost associated with adoption I dont know what is fact and what is fiction. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your knowledge about adotion. God Bless Sincerely Dan
