I was sort of hoping more people would be talking too through this, but have not paid as much attention lately. I wondered if people see this as a competition to be selected, rather than a support and a way of encouragement. I was hoping it would give us something to check out regularly and be a fun way to take our minds off the wait.

Hi Tracee, I also noticed that Bethany's board is used a lot. I had to wonder if it is because with Bethany people seem to wait a lot longer than with American Adoptions. It would seem to me people with a longer wait time would need more support. Just a thought.

Hi, we are in the process of application. Very early, I know but wonder why this message board is not utilized very often. When we visited Bethany's it was constantly packed? Have you had any personal replies or email replies??? Just curious why more people don't use this - it would be sucha great tool.

As my husband and I begin our wait, I find myself looking over profiles. I like watching for "Congratulations on recent adoption" to be listed. I have become familiar with seeing some of the families and get so excited when I see they were able to get a baby. I thought it would be fun to share another "Congratulations". I'm not sure how many actually look at this message board, but I thought it was worth a try. From watching the page that Joel and I will be posted on, I noticed Jon and Rebecca had a "Congrats" recently. We are very excited for them and also wish to extend our own Congratulations!!!
