| Dee | Posted: Oct 27, 2004 05:58:50 AM We are trying to adopt our grandson who has been in foster care for one year. We only found out about him two weeks ago. I would really like to know what a realistic outcome would be. We really want to adopt this child! He has been in foster care, with the same foster parents for his entire life and has bonded with them. Had we known about him, we would have tried to get him from the beginning. Please give me any information. We have an appointment with an attorney for next week, our home study will be next week, and I have filed a petition for custody and visitation, but we are going to discuss with our attorney about changing that to adoption. Thanks! | ||
