Check the FAQ section of the website under the list of links for those looking to adopt. I think the answer to your quesiton might be there.

I thought I read on American Adoption website that if the birthmother changes her mind, they will continue to search for a child at no additional expense. I am now unable to find that statement. Anyone know if this is the case? My husband and I are going to begin the adoption process in the next few months and want to be sure to use the "right" agency. Thanks.
