Vince was born in Ecuador. He moved to America when he was young but grew up celebrating the traditions and heritages of the Hispanic culture. His family is fluent in both Spanish and English. Theresa's parents are both first generation Irish Americans.
Obviously, we are a bi-racial couple. Although together we can use our family experiences to teach our child the uniqueness and similarities of different races. Our love as a couple will help teach our child that we all have similarities, even with the different backgrounds. Our respect for each other will serve as an example for how our child should treat everyone, regardless of their race.
We love to travel. No matter if we are on vacation together or traveling for work, we always pick up a magnet from each of the places we've visited. Our fridge if filled with funny magnets that take us back to previous trips. Some of our favorites are from our honeymoon in Jamaica and other romantic beach vacations we've taken.
Although our vacation locations might change with a child, we'll continue to pick up these unique magnets. We look forward to filling our fridge with new memories of our first trips together as a family.
We have one pet, Donnovan. Donnovan was originally owned by Theresa but has since adopted Vince to be his second parent. He is a unique cat in that he likes to be the center of attention at all times. Regardless of his napping schedule, he always comes out to greet visitors.
Donnovan loves the entire family. You can normally find him overseeing any home improvement projects making sure that Vince and his father are doing things to his high standards. He also loves visitors from his little friends, our nieces and nephews. After their visits, Donnovan is exhausted from all the play and fat from the many treats they feed him. Both of us are huge animal lovers and, with the help of Donnovan, will show your child the love and joy an animal can bring to a family.
