 Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. We are a young, fun loving couple who would like nothing more than to start our family through adoption. We were both raised by loving, supportive families and can't wait to raise your child in the same manner. Your child will always know of the selfless, difficult, loving decision you made to ensure them of the life you wanted for them.  |

Both of us grew up vacationing on Cape Cod with our extended families. It only seemed natural that this would be a place we would vacation as a couple as well. We both absolutely love the ocean and the beach. Our families rent a couple of cottages yearly and we spend a week with parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and their children. We play bocce, paddleball, and horseshoes on the beach. Sandcastles are made, crabs are caught for our crab races, and numerous books are read in the sand. Andy even offers up windsurfing lessons to family members during that week! Lobster is undoubtedly on the menu (Cape Cod is the place where Stacey had her very first lobster!) and we even have a yearly tradition of visiting the Sundae School at least once in the week....they have the most amazing ice cream! The evenings are spent playing card or board games and laughing.
Your child will be told about his/her adoption from the very beginning. They will be given this information in a manner appropriate to their age and level of understanding. They will learn of their very own "adoption story" and we hope that it will be a story they will ask to hear over and over again as it will reinforce what a selfless and courageous decision you had to make. Please know that we will pass along anything you would like them to know. Your child will never know a time that they were not loved or wanted by either you or us. They will know that they are "extra" special and that they were placed here on this earth to bless both you, their birthmother; and us, their adoptive parents.
Our lesiure time is very important to us. We spend some of it together and some of it on our own. We feel it is important to have some "me" time every once in awhile to help us enjoy the "we" time even more.
Andy is a tinkerer, and can be found fixing things around the house, working on cars, or starting a home renovation project. Stacey likes to cook and can often be found in the kitchen creating something new. She also enjoys taking Zumba classes at the local gym.
Friends and family are very important to us, and we enjoy spending time with them. Whether we are going out to dinner or playing board games on the back porch well into the summer nights, we are just happy to be in their company.
Most of all, we enjoy being together. Our favorite part of the day is coming home after work, making dinner together, and reconnecting after a day apart.
