![]() Hi! We are Jeff and Cameron. We know first-hand the joy adoption can bring to a family. Cameron's mother and Jeff's sister were adopted and we want more than anything to also build our family through adoption. We are a devoted couple who are so excited to share our love and lives with a child. Having a family is our top priority and greatest hope. We will raise your child in a nurturing, safe, educational, and fun environment with unconditional love. Thank you for opening your hearts to adoption and considering us as parents for your child. |

As a couple we enjoy spending time together no matter what we are doing. Usually our leisure time is spent at our family's river house. There we like to fish, boat, bird watch, ride bikes, play with our dogs, watch movies, play board games, and entertain our friends and family. We can't wait to have a child who can share all of these activities with us.
Jeff has a lot of diverse hobbies. He loves to play sports, especially baseball. He is on a baseball team and also on a softball team with a lot of his friends from high school. He and his father enjoy playing golf together. He is good with his hands and recently took up woodworking and playing guitar. In fact, last year he built his own guitar by hand!
Cameron enjoys playing with our dogs, reading on her iPad, listening to music and being with her friends. One of her favorite things to do is meet the girls for dinner out. In order to relax and wind down after a stressful day at work, she really likes running and exercising.
Together we love to shop for food at different area markets and then prepare meals. With Jeff's culinary background, we are often the ones hosting dinners for our friends and family. Jeff can't wait to teach this child how to cook and Cameron will teach him or her how to clean it all up (which she thinks is just as hard as the cooking!)
Education was an important part of our upbringings, especially because both of our mothers were teachers. We believe that education is an essential part of making a child who they are as an adult. In order to achieve this we plan on giving this child the most appropriate education available to meet his or her needs. We are fortunate to have the resources to make this happen and because of our proximity to a large city we have many education options available to us.
When we purchased our home one of the major selling points of it was its location in the very best school district in our area. This affords us the choice of being able to send this child to the public schools close by, the very same ones Jeff attended growing up. However, if by the time this child begins school, we notice that the child's needs would be better suited by specific instruction in private schools we also have options around us to suit those needs as well. Our mothers both taught special needs children so we understand the value of having the right type of education for the child's needs in order to help them reach their greatest potential.
Cameron had a traditional education and attended public schools throughout her educational career. She then chose to attend and graduate from the largest public university in the state. Jeff attended both public and private schools growing up. He chose a non-traditional path of higher education and received his degree in Culinary Arts because it let him express his creative side and encouraged his desire to do "hands on" work. We believe that not one size fits all in terms of education and we will encourage this child to be whatever he or she wants to be.
Our favorite vacation spot is our family's home on the river. We're glad that it is only about an hour from where we live so that we can visit it often. It sits on three acres, consisting of a big field in the front where we love to play fetch with our dogs, and a spectacular view of the river with water access in the back. It is located in a peaceful country setting. We love watching the beautiful sunrise over the water in the morning while Jeff makes the whole family breakfast. We love fishing off the dock, enjoying water sports in our boat, and riding our bikes along the country roads while soaking in the scenery.
Across the river from us is a nature preserve that provides us with hours of great wildlife watching, which includes a family of bald eagles that has set up roost near our home. The fish are a constant source of entertainment for us because they love to jump all around us as we are trying to catch them. The water is great for swimming and tubing and we can't wait until your child is old enough to enjoy water activities with us.
Our river house is always full of energy and fun because we often have our friends and family join us there. It is a place where we go to get away from it all and enjoy life and is the perfect place for building childhood memories.
