![]() Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We would like to open our home and hearts up to a child. Adopting a child would be such an amazing gift who would always be loved and cherished. If chosen, we would give your baby all the time and attention he/she needs in order to grow in a loving and secure environment. We would be honored and blessed to be parents to your child. |

When we got married, we both knew that we wanted to have a family. We never imagined it would be so difficult. We have struggled with infertility throughout most of our marriage.
After three years of testing, treatments and many heartaches we were surprised to find out that we were pregnant. Five years ago we were blessed with our daughter. She has brought so much joy and love into our lives. We love hearing the sound of her sweet giggle. We absolutely love being parents and we both knew that we wanted to have another child. So we started trying again when our daughter was only seven months old.
After another 3 1/2 years of failing to conceive, we both felt that God was leading us to adoption as a means of blessing our family with another child. We were happy to realize that He has already placed the love and acceptance in our hearts for another baby. We both know that it doesn't matter where or how our child comes to us -- they are a gift from God. We are both confident that adoption is right for us as a family, and we're committed to loving and raising our children unconditionally.
In our leisure time, we mainly enjoy spending time as a family. Outside activities are some of our favorites. In the summer, we enjoy going swimming at Doris' sister's pool, taking walks along the river, and playing at the playground. In the winter, we enjoy going sledding, building a snowman, or throwing snowballs at each other.
We also love hanging out together inside too. One of our favorite things is dancing together whether it be to music from the IPod or while playing Just Dance 2 on the Wii. We also really enjoy chasing each other around the house during a game of "tag, you're it" or finding great hiding spots during hide and go seek. Board games are another one of our favorite inside activities.
As a couple, watching movies is something fun for us. We both like a good comedy or drama. Doris will never agree to something scary, even though she gets teased a lot. Brandon likes science fiction, although he will agree to something romantic every once in a while. We enjoy going to movies with our friends also. However, our favorite activity with our friends is playing games.
When it comes to hobbies, Doris loves experimenting in the kitchen. Her most recent experiments have been with making birthday cakes and candy lollipops. Brandon enjoys creating things, whether it's on the computer or in the workshop. He's constantly finding something new to work on to keep his mind occupied.
When Alayna was 18 months old, we decided to get a puppy. Doris had never picked out a dog before and was unsure of how she would be able to choose. Brandon reassured her she would know because the dog would pick us! That is exactly what happened! Out of numerous puppies, one particular puppy started licking us immediately. We knew he was the one! Andy become the newest member of our family.
Andy is a three-year-old Cavachon (mix of a Bichon-Frise and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel). He loves people and is great with children. He loves laying right next to you and looking up at you with his big eyes. He is the star of the show when friends come to visit. He has such a personality!
