Our Adoption Experience
Adopting our son Noah has been such an amazing experience. We found out that we were selected to be his
parents the day he was born. The next thing you know we were on a plane and at the hospital with his birth mom. We spent hours talking to her and getting to know her and enjoyed every minute of it. We spoke about her interests and her reasons for choosing adoption for her son. From the day he was placed in our arms, we have told him about his adoption. We answer all of his questions honestly and will continue to tell him more and more about his birth mom as he continues to grow up. We update Noah's birth mom annually through letters and photos and would be very happy to do that for you as well. Adoption has been a beautiful experience for us and we can't wait to welcome another child into our family!
Having Fun Together
We are one of those families who enjoy spontaneous activities. It is a common event to call some friends and their kids an hour before show time, and invite them to a drive-in movie theater or perhaps ask them to go roller skating. Our family is used to last minute, impromptu barbeque invites and our evening bonfire around our firepit. We also enjoy quiet evenings alone together playing Yatzee or taking a drive to get an ice cream. It doesn't really matter what we do, we truly take great pleasure spending time together as a family.
Why I Would Make a Good Big Brother
Noah and Turtle
Hi, my name is Noah and I am seven years old. I am so excited about becoming a big brother! I think I would make a good big brother because I can teach them their ABC's and I can read to them. When the baby grows up, I can teach them how to play soccer and baseball because I am pretty good. I can also teach them how to ride a bike. I will love my baby brother or sister. I can't wait to snuggle with them and hold them in my arms and feed them applesauce and milk. In our backyard we have a swing set and I will put them in the baby seat and will not push them too high. When my friends come over we can play all together. These are all the things that will make me a good brother. Love, Noah
