At an Art Fair

One of the things that makes Sean unique is his talent in watercolor painting. He belongs to the local area art guild, and has even won awards! He specialized in portraits - dogs and children are his best sellers! His style of painting is very unique. He begins by drawing a sketch. Then paints wet into wet, using only the primary colors: Yellow, Red, and Blue. He creates all of the colors you see directly on the paper, letting them intermingle in a calculated, yet playful way.

Our Kickball Team

Sean has painted many of our friends children as gifts. He also donates many of his prints to local organization for auction items.

Kate does not have the same artistic talent but has a talent in regards to friendships. Kate takes pride in the great friendships that she's maintained over the years. Kate has friends that she has known since she was two years old and regularly gets together with high school friends and college friends.

We also play on an adult kickball league and have done so for the past 7 years. It's a fun and silly reason to get together with our friends. It's also a nice reminder of our grade school days on the playground.

In Boise, Idaho

We love going to visit our best friends Beth and Mark at their ranch near Boise Idaho! We don't imagine many people put down Idaho as a favorite spot - but we imagine most have not been there. It is very much like Montana except it is less commercialized and expensive but just as beautiful!

When we go to visit, we usually set out one an adventure. Whether it's camping along the Snake River, hiking in Hells Canyon, white water rafting on the Payette River, fishing in one of the local lakes or just hanging out and riding horses, there's always fun to be had.

Horseback Riding

We have taken a longer drive and have gone camping in Yellowstone and experienced one of America's great treasures. We have also headed west from Idaho and gone to the Oregon Coast fishing and crabbing. There's nothing better than eating salmon and crab that is only hours old.

There are plenty of great adventures just hours away from our friends' home in Idaho. Whenever we are together with our friends, we spend a lot of time laughing and always have a great time. We cannot wait to share some of these adventures with a child. Come on, what kid doesn't want to ride a horse? And we know "Uncle" Mark will walk them around the corral as many times as they want!

Kate and Sean

Sean is sincere, honest and considerate.  He is the type of person who believes in doing the right thing.  He has a great sense of integrity and goes out of his way to help others.

He loves doing little things to show Kate that he loves her every day.  He makes her coffee and her lunch each day.  He leaves her little love notes or sends a sweet email in the middle of the day to make her smile.  Sean is always supportive and has been Kate's rock through the difficulties of life including infertility and the death of her father.  He has proven to Kate that he will lovingly be there through the good times and bad.

Kate is outgoing, compassionate, and fun person.  She is so amazing at making people feel loved.  And the way she does it is quite simple, she makes time to be a part of others lives.  Whether being a great wife, friend, aunt or even daughter, she lives her love for others by making it a point to spend quality time together with them. She is loved, because she gives so much love. 

Sean feels truly blessed to have Kate as his partner.   She is a beautiful woman who dedicates herself everyday to making our life together special.  She has taught Sean that love is a verb, rather than a noun.
