One of Roseanne's greatest strengths is her understanding and compassion for other people. She has always been a selfless person, considering all others before her. To cite one of many examples, was the time she regularly drove a friend for medical treatments for a serious condition, and her constant encouragement throughout the experience.
She stands for personal integrity and dignity as a person, and stands up for others who can not stand up for themselves. Roseanne has a nurturing nature and presence. Sacrifice is common for her in order to achieve the greater good in her life and the lives of others. She is creative, outgoing and a true friend to others.
Tim operates by a philosophy that life's events do not determine a person, but you determine your life. He strives to make a positive difference in peoples' lives. Tim is very active in the lives of our ten nieces and nephews, and is involved in coaching youth sports programs.
One of Tim's strengths is his humility and perseverance in his belief to overcome any adversity, challenge, circumstances, and rise above obstacles to obtain a positive outcome.
We believe our unique individual strengths complement each other and form a loving and strong bond between us.
We both believe that in some way there is a small mystery on how we met. We believe that mystery was the grace and hand of God in our lives. Several years ago there was a popular song with the lyrics, "I knew I loved you before I met you; I have been waiting all my life." Those words describe how we felt towards each other when we first met and began to fall in love.
We met at work when one day Roseanne was exiting the elevator as Tim was entering the elevator. Tim couldn't help to notice her and then made several respectful inquiries about her. Unbeknownst to both of us at the time, we later found out that we had a mutual friend. It was that same mutual friend who informally introduced us at a company event.
As providence would have it, we were both leaving the building on a Friday evening and Tim asked Roseanne if she had dinner plans. She accepted. That date transformed our lives together.
As parents, we believe we are the child’s first teacher. We have the privilege to show the child the meaning of life. We have the duty to assist them in knowing who they are, how they were made, and how they should live. We have the obligation to help the child identify their God-given gifts as well as to teach them to share their uniqueness with others.
